Koning's 2023 Year in Review

2023 was a year of steady growth for Koning, marked by breakthroughs across multiple domains that brought us closer to eradicating breast cancer as we know it. Looking back, here are some of the highlights: 

One of the brightest spots in 2023 was our collaboration with The Howard Center in Tifton, GA. With its multiple locations across Georgia, The Howard Center has always been committed to providing comprehensive gynecology and obstetrics services. Our installation strengthens their dedication to offering the best care possible to their patients. We also partnered with Swissray, a renowned company in the digital radiology field and our new distributor partner, with the aim to distribute our revolutionary technology for breast imaging via the Koning Vera Breast CT device. 

On the event front, in partnership with Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, we hosted Breast Scan Days at the prestigious Mercedes Benz US facility located in Vance, AL in October. Brookwood Baptist was able to scan a total of 160 patients across the three scan days, kicking off the opportunity for Koning to provide employee benefits to large corporations. At RSNA this November, we had another great opportunity to showcase our device with the support of Swissray, which attracted a substantial number of visitors, including clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals, eager to learn about the transformative potential of the KBCT. Our device's sensitivity coupled with its ability to take the place of multiple imaging applications drew immense admiration and enthusiasm. 

Koning also hosted a landmark event on November 10, 2023, to celebrate our growth and recent advancements in Breast CT. The gathering was held at Koning’s new manufacturing facility, where industry experts and healthcare professionals convened to share insights, foster collaborations, and witness the unveiling of the expanded space. The event attracted a diverse group of attendees, including radiologists, technologists, healthcare executives, and key stakeholders in the medical imaging field. 

Finally, in the digital world, Koning went viral for the second time, making waves in the imaging industry online and gaining thousands of new followers and supporters. Our Instagram page @koninghealth became a buzzing hub showcasing our commitment to revolutionizing health and wellness, as well as highlighting followers’ belief in our purpose. Our recent social media campaigns have reached millions of women, spreading awareness about the life-saving benefits of early detection.
