Our hope is to be able to improve survival rates and outcomes for millions of patients. We believe that the power, versatility and lower cost of Koning Vera Breast CT will serve as a viable substitute for many traditional imaging applications.

Koning Revolutionary Technology

2002

Dr. Ning founds Koning with exclusive license from University of Rochester

Koning Corporation is founded as a Delaware C corporation and receives exclusive license from the University of Rochester for Cone Beam CT and Cone Beam Breast CT technology.

2006

Designs and starts clinical trials of first KBCT prototype

With the scientific and engineering experience from the previous cone beam CT systems, Dr. Ning and his group designed the first commercial grade Cone Beam Breast CT specifically for breast imaging.

This is the first time true three-dimensional, isotropic tomography images were introduced to breast imaging.
