    Answering Your Questions

To engage with you, our supporters, we did a Q&A in our Instagram stories this week. We are absolutely thrilled to connect with you directly and thank you for showing interest! Here are the answers to your questions:

How does the Koning Vera Breast CT work?

The Koning Breast CT is designed to take accurate images of the breast without painful compression. It also eliminates any risk of implant rupture, and uses true isotropic 3D technology to avoid overlapping structures in a matter of seconds - 7 seconds per breast, to be exact.

    How are your radiation levels?

Our device maintains radiation levels similar to conventional mammography and adheres to The Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) mammography radiation limits.

What states currently have your Koning Vera Breast CT?

Clinics who are taking patients with our device can be found in Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Georgia. In the coming months, devices will also be installed in New York, Illinois, and Texas.

How can I promote the installation of your device in a clinic near me?

You can talk to your provider about our compression-free breast imaging by referring them to the For Providers -section of our website. Once they have completed the form, a Koning representative will contact them with more information on the next steps. To become an advocate, visit our Patient Advocacy page.

When will this be approved for screening?

We are currently going through our screening trial and hope to have approval by the end of 2024.

    Does insurance cover the exam?

Many private insurance firms have already reimbursed for the use of Breast CT. So far, payments have been made by Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Humana, United, and Cigna to name a few. The list is growing daily.
